Silent Running OUT NOW / 65LABS Redux
Today marks the release of our 2011 album Silent Running to streaming platforms. Only thirteen years late! Listen now, listen often.
It's also still available on our Bandcamp should you still be in the old-fashioned habit of buying music and keeping it stored locally so when the internet goes down and people inevitably start trading mp3s for food and fresh water you'll be well stocked.
65LABS PATREON
We started the 65LABS patreon back in 2021 to help support our project Wreckage Systems. The Wreckage Systems stream remains online to this day and 'Version 2' of the stream has been running constantly (apart from the occasional server reboot) for well over two and a half years.
Once Wreckage Systems stopped being actively developed, we used the 65LABS Patreon to celebrate last year's 10th anniversary of Wild Light in the Wild Light Decade project, which took a deep dive into the making of that record. It includes dozens of never-heard-before demos and sketches from the original writing process, as well as live recordings from the ten year anniversary shows. So much music.
There are currently no projects actively running on 65LABS. In fact, back in July we paused the Patreon for a few reasons, not least because we want to try to concentrate on (slowly) writing a new 65days record without feeling the pressure to produce more exclusive content.
But! The reality is there are ongoing costs to maintaining the Wreckage Systems stream and its servers, and combined with a recent mistake (the Patreon un-paused itself without us noticing in time) we have changed our mind.
THE NEW APPROACH
Going forward, we have introduced a new cheaper Patreon tier (just £2.50 a month!) for people who are willing and able to support us in keeping the Wreckage Systems stream alive whilst we get on with other things.
This means there has literally never been a better time to join up and get stuck into the huge archive of material tucked away in there. Signing up on the new £2.50 Wreckage Systems LTS (long term support) tier will let you go spelunking in the 65LABS noise trove.
Hours and hours of exclusive 65 material for the price of a coffee! Although obviously, we are hoping that once joining you'll decide that there's enough good stuff in there for you to stick around for a while as you leisurely work your way through it.

- We still have Utopian Frequencies & Disquiet vinyl available, as well as the new Utopian Frequencies t-shirt. Stocks are dwindling though, and when that vinyl is gone it won't be coming back.
